Ms. Haucke is president of Plovgh, Inc., a boutique grain company based in Viroqua, Wis. A leader in perennial, rotationally grown, and variety-specific crops, Plovgh develops niche supply chains in partnership with customers in order to bring more ecological and culinary diversity from farmers’ fields to the ingredient lists of foods and beverages. One of Plovgh's noteworthy crops is Kernza, a new perennial wheat crop that reached the market in 2016. Prior to Plovgh, Ms. Haucke worked on agricultural supply chain projects with several companies, including Cargill and PepsiCo, Inc. She received a bachelor’s of arts degree from Columbia University and a master’s degree in business administration from MIT Sloan School of Management.
