Mr. Aguiar is the director of international sales and strategic development for Mariani Nut Co. He has worked for Mariani for more than 20 years, beginning his career as a technical adviser, later moving into the sales department, with a specific focus on the retail market. He subsequently became more involved with international sales, and more recently has focused on strategic development for the company. He received a bachelor’s of science degree in aeronautical engineering from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. He has served on the Almond Board of California as well as the International Committee, and is involved with the International Tree Nut Council, the Dried Fruit & Tree Nut Association of California, and Walnut Marketing Board of California. He owns a farming operation that is located in California.
