It happens here.
After a trying year in ingredient markets due to rising tariffs, severe weather, crop uncertainty and political turmoil, ingredient buyers now are focusing on 2020, which promises plenty of challenges as well. Questions of how the trade war will play out and affect prices headline a variety of issues to be addressed, ranging from winter crop conditions to the ramifications of a prospective increase in the biofuel mandate.
Tune in Dec. 4 for a special Purchasing Seminar webinar for insights on a variety of issues that may affect ingredient markets in the year ahead.
Steve Freed will offer a review of the grains and oilseed markets, Paul Meyers will cover shortening, Craig Ruffolo will address sugar and corn sweeteners and Drew Lerner will discuss weather. An opportunity for questions will follow the presentations.
